Hi Max

Wow – what a stunning location, you have some beautiful countryside surrounding the astro camp location. Thanks for posting these photos, its great to be able to get an insight into other astro camps.

Several attendees appear to be wearing the same T-shirts; grey body with dark sleeves – are these the official astro camp T-shirts? It would be nice to have a collection if one were able to travel the globe and attend astro camps in each country.

I suspect that river would be cold if its source were the hills/mountains in the background?

Cheers

Dennis

I noticed there were a few Mini Towers being set up on the field.
They must be pretty popular over your way.

Thanks all for the coments!!!

My english is not so well but Im going to try to explain some things.

About the t-shirts: In Argentina we have a Astronomy forum www.espacioprofundo.com.ar (http://www.espacioprofundo.com.ar) and there are several groups around the country, one of them called "Astronomical Cuyum Brotherhood" they hosted the star party and gift shirts with the logo of his group, that is why we are all with the same shirt. Here is few more pictures and one where we are all together.

We are also distributors for several brands of telescopes across the country, including Ioptron, that is why the quantity of Minitowers

P.S.: The water was really cold!!!!

Cheers!!

Mental. Viva la Celeste!

-how was the weather?
-where is Mendoza in relation to Buenos Aires?
-how long did the star party go for?
-how many people attended, and how many and types of scopes were there?

It looks like a very beautiful location. You are fortunate to live in such a diverse country geographically.

Wow Max

... and I was only 650kms up the road for most of January - if only I had known it was on ;) . It is nice to see what I was missing under the glare of the all night lighting at the Alumbrera mine. Geographically Max your country is spectacular and I hope to make it back one day with more of a touristy focus.
