Hi all
Last night the weather was again clear and quite dark. So I went for Menzel 1 (MZ1) in Norma, one of the three Menzel planetaries in that area.

11x10 mins ISO400. LPS filter, baader MPCC coma corrector. Modded 350d. 10 inch f5.6 newtonian, off axis hand guided. Again, very wet with secondary mirror dewing up at the end.

Nice one Scott, I like the uncropped version it givs a better indication of the size of this little tacker.
Looks Good.

Very nice image, a bit more magnification would really show this beauty off. You can see in the resampled size how much detail is in the object.

Great shot again Scott...oh to have my scope outside my backdoor :(

Thanks all :)
I cant believe the Menzel planetaries arent on the NGC list, they are not that faint. Mind you, ive not had a go at them visually myself yet, Im normally too busy imaging to do any visual work lol
