Was Venus visable 0845 23/06/2009

I noticed a star high in the sky this morning about 8:45am on my ride to work. Was this Venus?

I checked my starchart and it looks as though venus was in the area...

Using Stellarium v10.3 I located Venus "high" in the Northern sky at around 8:45 a.m. this morning.

I even saw Venus through the clouds this morning, although not that late but still very bright.

About 2 months ago I took my el-heapo scope out the catch a view 4" and had to put a cap on it because it was too bright for me.
