I found this rather sad, as while CCD/CMOS has been great for astrophotography, the grain, fidelity and saturation of Kodachrome was never surpassed (IMHO) for daylight images.

Tis sad. I was only talking about Kodachrome the other day at work funny enough. I remember shooting with Kodachrome 25. Those were the days. In later years, I was a Velvia and Provia man.

I got a few rolls, but not in the fridge. They're probably near to ten years old, so definitely not usuable, but I kept them as keepsakes ;-)

I took my first lunar images with Kodachrome some 30 years ago.
Sadly another casualty of the digital age.
RIP Kodachrome
