Took this 3 weeks ago, when i was back home, in Scotland :( sniff !!

Not a particularly great picture, and only taken on a Fuji 8mp camera, but i wanted to post something here, for us Scots, and to show you what Glencoe (The Glen of Tears) is like, as the Scottish landscape is very different to Oz, and the Highlands are a beautiful place, with very dark skies i might add

hope you enjoy

Hi Duncan,

Thanks for this. I have been there, and remember it well. The whole Vale had a most memorable impression on me, as did the journey over the moors after leaving at the top end. Weather was like your photo for us.

I spent a good few moments looking at my own photos.

Cheers

It's a beautiful place, the missus and I spent a few days there a couple of years ago. Stayed at the Clachaig Inn IIRC. Met some crazy Glaswegians on the Devils Staircase walking from Glasgow to Inverness, all over 50 and never hiked before!

Cheers,
Jason.
