Discounts on Equipment

I was wondering if Bintel and OzScopes offer discounts on equipment like Yorkoptical. I noticed York gives upto 20% and this would be awesome if the other 2 did as well............

I rarely find it matters, TBH. Although York optical have a great name for customer service, i never buy anything from them, as even with the discount i can usually find it way cheaper elsewheres.

Not knocking YO, they have thier prices, and thier overheads etc. and if i dont like it, i can go somewhere else... and i do.

TBH, rather than OzScopes, i would rather see My Astro Shop doing something regarding discounts and drumming up business.

Yep, understand........and everyone gives Bintel a good wrap.........unfortunately in my case the extra discounts could add up to several hundred dollars and my financial accountant this morning asked how I was travelling with regards to my savings program. I ignored her comments and simply made her a cup of tea and some toast........subliminally trying to weaken her over the next couple of months to increase my $$$ spend.............:)

Talk to Steve at My Astro Shop he's usually good with prices. Also luke at Andrews Comm are very good.

We have a local supplier but he doesn't asdvertise his prices so i can't be bothered dealing with him generally.

I believe the 20% discount offered by York to IIS members is because this site advertises them and they sponsor it.
