Gday Humayun, I do have one more but its only a slightly closer version of that one. Unfortunatley I couldn't flag anyones attention to let me in to drool all over it and take more photos. At the moment I am madly building scale WW2 US carrier aircraft so I was very excited at my find!

I've since confirmed it is a TBM and not a TBF and is owned by the Wirraway Aircraft Museum in QLD. Aircraft designated TBM were built under licence by General Motors and had wing mounted rather than cowl mounted machine guns. Avengers dropped far more bombs than torpedo's and were most successful as an Anti-Submarine Aircraft. George Bush Sr. flew an Avenger in the war. At the time they were largest aircraft in the world to be fitted with only one engine and were a very advanced design despite being designed in a hurry to replace the hopelessly obsolete Devastators and Vindicators.
