First Trial. There was too much light pollution and the image was out of focus for this first attempt. I think I need to decrease the exposure time:)

I have the same problem with light poloution, I got a cls filter and it works really well. You need to bring the colours back into line as it extends the blue pretty far but works well.

Hi Rob,
I would highly recommend an IDAS LPS Filter to combat light pollution. I recently just got myself one and the results were excellent. The IDAS LPS has very good colour balance compared to other filters.
Do a search on the forums as there is plenty of imformation on these filters. ;)

Light polution, thank God I don't suffer with it here. Image looks OK but at 17KB it is a bit on the small side.
The IDAS LPS seems to be the filter of choise in here. Google up Light polution filter comparisons. I remember one in here at some point.
Keep at it and good luck. (Make the posted image a bit bigger Please)
