Morning all, I have been an avid amateur astronomer since a child thanks to my father. I have one question though I own a Celestron Powerseeker 127 f/8 with the stock standard eyepieces that came with the scope and find them rather poor quality Ive had the scope for nigh on 12 months now and having moved to Campbelltown find Light Pollution another obstacle for observing nowadays any recommendations on a few eyepieces that are better than the stock standard pieces that came with this scope would be much appreciated. Thanks.

It depends on your budget. The Televue Naglers are near the top of the list for performance and also dollars. The Televue Plossl range are a good choice and you don't need a vast range, one low power (say 25mm) and 11mm would be a good starting point. If you can afford the Naglers then don't hesitate, they are an investment in future viewing. If you are interested in lunar and planetary viewing then concentrate more on the shorter ones (say 8mm).
