What are the best EQMOD setups available

I am looking into portable EQMOD setups, Allan Gould has me interested in one type, i was wondering what else might be out there being used that will fit the build?

for both heqpro5 and the EQ6pro?

Get the FTDI USB to TTL serial cable, a Logitec wireless gamepad and Astroplanner V2 (beta).
