http://www.users.on.net/~josiah/Ant%20Nebula%20MZ3.html
I took it with my 10 inch F5.6 Newtonian and Canon EOS 300D. Its 2 x 3 min ISO 400 images stacked.

Great image Scott, and like most others, one I too hadn't even heard of.
I too have reinvented the wheel with using my 10" f5 newt for imaging. I had it out last night, and have yet to process the stacks.
Regards, and welcome,
Gary

Very nice tornado!
Where abouts in Newcastle are you? Hows the light-pollution up there?

I'm thinking of coming up and joining up with the NAS.. Do you have a dark sky site you go to?

In reply to your question I posted it in the (General Chat) forum.

Thanks! You didn't answer this one..
:D

You're at swansea aren't you? The LP wouldn't be too bad there would it? Although you'd get quite a glow to the north I imagine.

I had some friends at Belmont and Charlestown back in my uni days.

Well we don't have a "dark site" that we go to but we do have our viewing night Shortland I woudn't call it a dark site though.

And yes I'm at Swansea the light polution sin't that bad towards the east or south east not that great towards the north.

Im in good old Wallsend. On a good night I can just see the LMC naked eye, on bad nights cant even do that.
The Newcastle Astro Society has that site at Mcarthur St Shortland, on disused Waterboard land, viewing nigts held the night after each meeting which are at the last Friday of month GP 1.1 Newcastle Uni.
