It appears the circumstances of his death were quite strange. Maybe suicide. Maybe inadvertent.
The TV series Kung Fu made him famous. Ironically, Bruce Lee was overlooked for the part as they didn't think a Chinese American would sustain interest in the series.

What a shocking piece of news.
RIP
I used to love that show, ;) gee that is a long time ago, and as Doug mentioned age is creeping up very rapidly.
Leon
He played a good part in "Kill Bill" as well.
Sad to see him go.
RIP Dave

Amazingly, only last night I watched a couple of episodes of Kung Fu on DVD (haven't looked at them for a year or more). Then I turned the telly on this morning to see that he had died. Spooky...:scared:
Yeah me too - I mentioned him to my wife yesterday for some reason, after having not given him a thought for 35 years. And next morning he wakes up dead - how spooky is that :eyepop:
Who shall I think of next :D

According to the NY Times yesterday, an independent autopsy on David Carradine's body has ruled the actor did not commit suicide. It now appears that the FBI has been asked to help in the case.
