Hi all.

I'm currently holidaying in New Zealand.

I've spent the last few days in Christchurch, making a few short visits to some great nearby sites.

Today, I drove to Akaroa and had a good look around Lyttleton. We got snow on the way over at Hill Top, with a strong southerly really cooling things down for the last day of Autumn.

The conditions were quite gloomy when I captured this shot...which I think helped create a sense of atmosphere.

We're pushing on to Lake Tekapo tomorrow. I'll try and send another 'postcard' in the next few days, hopefully of Mt Cook while trekking the Hooker Valley track.:)

Matt,

That's right near the spot where I did my Golden Shine of an Akaroan Sunrise photograph.

Beautiful place. Make sure you have fish and chips in Akaroa!

You will love Lake Tekapo. It's stunning. It'll be cold as, though. :)

Make sure you get the obligatory shot of the church on the lake. :)

Regards,
Humayun

Hi Matt,

A beautiful shot with beautiful exposure from an often overlooked cul-de-sac of New Zealand.

Hope you indulged in the local cuisine whilst there! Some really fabulous restaurants.

Look forward to the next postcard.

Best Regards

Gary

Love it Matt,

Another beautifully constructed image, excellent perception of depth provided by the old jetty and the cloud or fog on the hills lends to the overall atmosphere.

Cheers
