Excellent time lapse, thanks for posting it Mike.
This is one of the best efforts I have seen.
Don't know about the Astrofest but a few years ago at the SPSP there were some of the organizers of the Texas star party visiting and they had a meter that registered how good the seeing was. The reading they got at the SPSP was better than at their previous Texas star party.

It is a great time-lapse. I think I will have to go out and do some more now to beat that....
Thanks for the motivation.

And we expect nothing less of Oz!
However, I gotta hitch up the scope and head for Broken Hill one day to get under some really dark skies. I've observed in nothing better than the grey band in the light pollution maps

Thanks Trevor, one day I will.
I asked my wife if she'd like to spend a week in the Broken Hill district. She said no, but told me to go and enjoy myself!
PS. I'd better stop at Swan Hill on the way!
:clap::clap::clap: that sounds like a great idea hehe :D
