Hi Paul,
Good report mate -- wow, that was a "short" session?
Let's see, you started at 7.12pm and were all finished at 8.50pm -- that's 98 minutes for 57 objects = an average of 1 min 43 seconds each object including the slew to and making a note. Was there a fire somewhere?
That's quicker than a bunch of Kiwi's who've spotted a new pair of thongs at Pak-n-save! :P If you get caught going that sort of speed again you know what's gonna happen, don't you?
You'll be be sentenced to 6 hrs in the Virgo cluster using a 40 year-old Nortons Star Atlas, a 40 year-old 60mm refractor with the one SR4mm eyepiece -- that'll slow you down a bit! ;)
Best,
Les D

Amazing what you can get done when you have an Argo Navis, a single spot in the sky and a dictaphone. As you can see, no changes in eyepieces. Galaxies are normally pretty easy to log as well.
Observation Map attached.
The dictaphone allows the quick logging. In fact I only had 10 seconds on my dictaphone left!! 16 minutes of storage, I used 15 mins 50 seconds.
Very small pushes in general.
I don't get out as much, due to my health so I am pretty organised when I do.
