Saturn improvement

Here's a couple of stacks from my first go with the Toucam 900 last night.
Stacked in registax 5, levels, colour adjustment and very minor resize in cs3.

Ed80 and 2 x GSO Barlow, captured in Kccd tools.

They are VERY tiny though, perhaps think of using the Toucam on the dobs to get a bit more scale? It does get a bit fiddly lining up the planet to "drift" past the camera, but more details and larger size to be had doing that.
Alternatively whack the dob tube on the Eq6 and fire away for as long as you want.

Keep it up, the focus and the details are fine, just a tad too small for me...

Yes very small, Got the mount set up for the 8 inch tube. Now all I need is some more clear skies!

Took your advice Chris.

Whacked the 8 inch tube on the eq6 pro and shot some avi's through a 2 x barlow.

Better size, seemed to have a lot more difficulty focusing, there was also a fair bit of high cloud. Time for a Bathinov or Hartman mask!

Much better image scale Darren,

Try increasing the gain enough for one of Saturn's moons and focus on it, then go back to Saturn and revert to the settings you need for it.

Well Done Darren,

That looks heaps better, great advice from Trevor, I personally focus on a bright star first, then swing over to Saturn.

Also, dont be afraid to use the Histogram in your capture program to increase the gain to about 70-75% of the histogram to get the right exposure.

Keep at it, there is some impressive improvement already and its quite a buzz when you get some cloud details on the planet's surface. (although I am no expert at planetary by any means)

Practice, practice, practice, as they say...
