What is Placeholder 1-nt

Locked posts by iceman with the above title have been appearing regularly.
Am I the only one wondering what they are????

No, you're not the only one wondering. People have asked before :)

As the title suggests, they're placeholders for me for when I upload articles to the IceInSpace website. In the articles, I link back to a forum thread for discussions. At the time of writing the article, I need to know the forum thread id - so I have to create a placeholder thread which I link to in the article.

Then, when the article goes live, I edit the thread to have the proper title and body.

You'll notice that the one I created in general chat this morning (http://www.iceinspace.com.au/forum/showthread.php?t=45187) has now been modified as the article (40th Anniversary of the Apollo 11 Moon Landing (http://www.iceinspace.com.au/63-539-0-0-1-0.html)) has now been published :)
