trick,

Nicely done!

I'm a fellow Canberran, and imager, and would love to come out to Tidbinbilla with you guys some time. I'm trying to look for somewhere nearby, which is safe, for late night imaging. Is it a set up where you can spend the night?

Regards,
Humayun

Humayun

I have seen you at the CAS meeting last month. It was my first night at CAS. I dont spend the night as they lock the gates at 6pm in winter and 8pm in summer. I just set up on the side of the road outside the reserve for a few hours. I live at Gordon so its only 15 Kms out from my place. I was thinking of doing a night out at Honey suckle they have a camp ground. Check my site out http://trick.netau.net/index.html it has a map.
Like I said I am new to DSLR astrophotography and so is Duncan. I will see you Thursday at CAS.

Hi Trev, yeah i know. there was alot of thin overhead cloud, and then around 7pm ish, it just vanished. i kicked myself, i should have taken the gamble and come out with you to Tidbinbilla, but like i said on the phone, we will do it for defo.

as it happens because i had my gear sorted, it took seconds to put up on the back deck, i took some images myself, will post them in a bit
