long story:
Last December, I purchased a Meade Mysky Plus.
It kept freezing up, and so I consulted the supplied manual, which had a section on how to update is software. This I did.
Unfortunately, when they brought out the Mysky Plus, Meade did not update the manual from the original Mysky which was supported by an update system. The new Mysky isnt, so I ended up with a noncompatable program and no way to retreive it.
IIS people tried to help me with a copy of the correct software, but to no avail, because for some reason Meade has now put security on it, and it wouldnt run on my system.
My efforts to get meaningful contact with Meade were totally unsuccessful.
So I contacted Astro Optical Supplies (where it was bought) and they negotiated with the Meade organisation. and finally after 4 months (and having given up hope), a new SD card arrived in the mail with a note saying that the delay was due to Meade changing Addresses. -and, even better, the new program hasnt locked up!
This is great after-market service and shows a commitment to their clients. So here's a rap for Astro Optical Supplies product support.
