Dear AppleGecko,

The system is being sold on the behalf of a member of the Astronomical Society of Melbourne whom has used this system twice.

The system has been checked mechanically and optically (by myself personally) and is perfectly capable order and condition, it looks basically the same as a brand new unit - just without the brand new price tag.

The only down side is that he has lost his eyepieces at the 2nd viewing session, he put them down somewhere and now can't find them. Therefore Astronomy Alive have supported this project with brand new replacement eyepieces for this sale (same as are supplied for this telescope new).

During the 2nd viewing session with our team he has seen a couple of superior grade hand crafted Newtonian Dob telescopes. On the spot he has made the decision to have one of these made for himself by the same supplier, a 10 inch hand crafted Newtonian made for him by Astronomy Alive. Thereby this Skywatcher unit has been passed to myself as president of the soceity to support him with on selling the system for him.

Trust this assists.
