It occurs to me that I must check in on IIS many times a day!

IIS is top of my bookmarks list and after checking Google News and any emails that may have arrived, the 1st place I head for is IIS. I have a look at the Beginners and ATM threads, check the General Chat and have a quick look for bargains in the Icetrade section. Then it's off to Cloudy Nights for the same routine.

Always something interesting to read, ideas to ponder, clues on how others tackle projects, and every now and then a bargain to be picked up. And a great bunch of similarly minded folk to chat with!

I'm fortunate my work environment is set up in a way that I could easily spend a lot of time browsing without interfering too much with what I should be doing, and there are days when I do!

Are my browsing patterns just average, or am I becoming an astro forum junkie?

Cheers
Chris

You're an astro forum junkie :P The main thing is you're enjoying it.

Chris,

let me first say that I deny that i am a junkie:whistle:,

I can say that I can live without being on Line:screwy:, without signing up to exorbitant fees when on holidays to get an hours worth of net time to gain access:scared:, never ever surf the web during work hours 90 percent of the day:whistle: and have the full support of the wife to spend as much time as possible:lol::rofl: online.........

LOL Chris its only natural;) honest there is life after IIS:help: you will never end up like me:rofl::D

Chris,

I wouldn't be too worried yet.
Do you realise, how many members posting on this thread have more than 1000 posts each. :)

Pretty much a junkie.
Tho I've never been successful picking up a bargain... always seem to miss out by a few mins, the modded 300D for $200 being the most recent :(

some have 5000 or more .....

this is the only one i belong to, have looked at the others but this one is the best set out in so many ways. so here i remain.

straight to the deep sky section, check out the new images, comment occasionally, then off to new posts to see if something is running hot elsewhere as i wont go through all the other sections, at the moment checking the telescopes for sale as wouldnt mind another.

and another post clicked up

You have all passed the first test in your rehabilitation.
The first step is admitting you have a problem.

I myself, on the other hand, don't have one.:P

Sorry guys, that I'm so late (!!) getting on the site today! Drat now I have to go off line while I drive to work. Is there anyway I can get IIS on my GPS screen?? :help:

God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change,
courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference!

Cheers

I don't think I am adicted but I have set up IIS as a favourite on my iPhone so I can check in anytime.

Too many toys. Too many objects. Too little time. Blasted Moon. Damn clouds. Nagging work.

Without IIS, the withdrawals would kill me.

Medicinal purposes, of cause... Shake, Shake, Tremble.

Chris
What you've said perfectly describes my IIS forum usage habit. You make me feel a lot less guilty.I have nothing to add except it's also a good place to hold a garage sale.
