Hi,
today I tested the 2" 2x barlow lens with the Pentax 75/500.
I used the Canon 350d, ISO 800, 1/200s

f/13 made it possible to get moon and trees sharp.

Truly lovely images Werner,
I really like the the effect of the Moon rising through the trees.
Love the colour of the Moon and especially like the first image.

I think that the Pentax with the barlow is a good combination for pics like that.

Today is a cloudy night. No new material :(

So I show you another pic I made yesterday

It is a composite of 2 pics, 1/125s and 1,6s with ISO 100.
Pentax without a barlow.

Fabulous images Werner !!

I've been dying to get images like this of the full moon rising behind trees.
Haven't gotten around to it yet.

Yes, very nice - esp #2 - very appealing. Not sure of the yellowish hue or if I'd prefer blue.
