Hi All

I just got my Baader 7nm Ha filter on the weekend ( my lady had to bring it up from Perth ... there's no mail delivery out here ) so last night I gave Ha imaging it's first try. I shot 5x600sec @-15C on both these objects but for some reason lately DSS is not stacking all my images for me hence these images are only one 600 sec shot each. I will try stacking on my laptop and see if it works ... it's got me stuffed why DSS is messing around ... even uninstalled and reinstalled it but to no avail.

Anyway these are my first attempts at processing Ha and I'm not really sure what I'm doing. They are both quite noisey due to only one frame each and I've stretched the data a fair bit ... just thought I'd share the results.

Any tips or criticism are more than welcome ... this is a new game to me.

As a comment ... the biggest difference I found with Ha imaging ( using a OSC with dual chip ) is my guiding times were more than doubled and sometimes it was hard to even find a guide star ... a problem I have never had before.
