Hi All,

I was lucky enougth to go on a field trip over the ANZAC day weekend to a site N/E of Mukinbudin, called Watson's Way, about 500 to 600km N/E of Perth in Western Australia.

As it turned out, the air was still, Dry and NO wind. As a result the seeing was very good and it gave me an chance to get one of my personel best galaxy images when I imaged M83 from this site. Now this image is not in the leage of Steven (SJASTRO) who has an extremely good image which he has posted here, however I am never the least quite pleased with the result I was able to obtain with my un-modified 20D. I still need to work on my processing a little more as I don't have it quite right yet, so your comments would be welcome to point me in the right direction. I have asked Dave (zipdrive) to process my raw images to see if I am close to doing the right thing with the data I have collect for this target.

The current image is at the url below.

Your comments would be most welcome.

Thanks in Advance

Chris

Stars are a bit saturated to my taste but I love the colors and details you got in the galaxy. Very nice picture.
