Omega Centauri

Last night i set up my equipment mainly to try EqAlign. After spending some time with it before packing up I thought I will try few short exp on omega cent.

When i processed the image this morning I was quite happy given that its unguided and not much data.

I can see a faint galaxy like something towards middle left conrner. Is it a galaxy? If yes does anyone know what is it called?

(No field flattener and ignore the bad column on the right side i think i messed up something somewhere)

nice image, the second one is great. You definitely need a field flattener for those corners :) Or crop them out :)

Yeh I agree the coma is quite horrible. I was just too greedy to keep everything and not crop :). Waiting on a recently bought spacer set for the WO .8x PFlat 2. Hopefully that will improve the star field.
