Prom's AR and planes!!

This morning under very difficult (swimming pool!) seeing.
SM60 double stack on ED80 + x2.8Klee and DMK21
The plane was a bonus!!

a bit of solar disk activity finally. :) Could this be the start of bigger and better things???

Yeah looks like the seeing was a bit off. Nice enough captures though.

Thanks for the comments. I'm beginning to think I need to find a new observig site. Here within the M25 there seems to be too much turbulance to get crisp solar seeing!

PS Its a bit of a funny lookin' plane isnt it ?
I can tell its a plane but it looks weird.

Only caught it on two frames from 500 in an AVI.
The exposure was 1/8 sec ( for the background prom!) so the smear during the exposure, the angle of the plane ( we're only 15 miles from Heathrow) and the terrible seeing all added together.......

Maybe I'm just trying to convince myself ( and justify the investment in solar gear!!) but I think the drought is almost over.....
I'm sure by the end of the year the new cycle will kick in and over the next couple of years there will be more and more activity ( and sunspots!)
Now's the time to start planning....
