I am offering my well cared for and loved SXW mount (capacity 11Kg) as I need to upgrade to something that will carry a bigger load.
This is a complete setup with the HAL 110 tripod, accessory tray, a half pillar, two counterweights and the Starbook (which has been updated to v2.1 of the firmware - includes PEC, Backlash compensation and Autoguiding features).
I can throw in a 10m Cat5 crossover cable if you like (I used this for remote controlling the mount) plus power cables/connectors, vixen dovetail plate, counterweight shaft camera mount etc. The original boxes and manuals are available too.
This SXW is a high precision (low, smooth PE) but highly portable mount in near new condition (it is 3 years old and has had only light use in my back yard) and is a great chance to save more than $1000 against the new price for this gear.
Price is AU$ 1,750. now $1,500 SOLD IT! Thanks Nick enjoy :-)
PM me if interested, a recent image of Eta Carina is attached - this was taken as 20*4 mins at F6 (127mm APO with 0.8x reducer) using an OpticStar 145m giving 1.75"/pixel, guided with PHD and a QHY5/W066ED. There is a little field rotation in the image due to a poor polar alignment.
