I came across some YouTube videos of the various original Saturn V tests. I thought the members might be interested. This YouTube member has many other interesting Apollo launches in the links to the right of the screen.

As many of the comments reflect, turn up the sound or put on a set of headphones and enjoy!

F1 engine - the biggest cigar lighter ever.
Pretty amazing stuff, hey. The amount of fuel they must have gone through just to test these things must have been phenomenal. I love the gimballing.

What Raw Power.
It remionds me of the Shuttle launches that I enjoy watching.
I once worked out that if the Shuttle were in Sydney and pointing North, and we started the engines, we would be in Port Maquarie in about 3-4 minutes.
Loved it thx for postinf the link.

Truely stunning!
Not in the least a fuel-efficient mode of transport. But what the heck, just in a great hurry.
I'll be re-running this when the Missus is at the shops, REAL LOUD. Might just do the dusting for me I reckon.

Must have been an awesome experience strapped into an Apollo capsule sitting on top of it just after liftoff.
Cheers

Just found out this:
This is what 12,700 litres per second of fuel buys you, :eyepop:.
