Hi All

Here's another image from 22nd April. Only three 600 sec exposures due to same guiding problem as with M16 ( SMOKE ).

Anyway on having another look at it I quite like the result. I have hardly done any processing on this other than colour balance and slight USM.

Thanks Baz ... tried to get some more data on M20 last night but only got one 720 sec shot before clouds showed up .... got some good data on M16 though .... will process and post it soon.

Good job Steve. I'd try to neutralise the background to reduce the reddish hue. A boost in cyan in the shadows would do the trick or you could use curves. This would accentuate the blue reflection nebulosity surrounding the nebula, though I suspect you'll need much more data to bring this out. You may wish to sit on a target a night. The greater the data, the more you'll extract from it.
