Hi Robbie,
Probably want to turn down the blue a bit.
There are plenty of pics of the Keyhole on the web, pick one from one of the legends (see Mike's list for Aussie legends) and try to match the colours.
The Lumicon filter isn't blue is it?
Cheers

the stars are nice and round so theres probably more detail available, when showing your image you have 200 kb to play with, i noticed that the first was only 40+ and the second 60+ , try to keep it up around 180-199.99kb so as to maximise the detail.
ie Photoshop- FIle- Save for Web- in this you can select the size of the image and the quality, its a balance of keeping the image clean first and then adjusting the size to suit.
the processing and color is something that will improve with time, experiment .
cheers clive.

Good first attempt Robbie. You need to pay a bit more attention to your focus. The overall image isn't bad and your processing looks like it has lifted a lot out of your subs. A bit of work on colour balance and Focus and it will become a real good one.
Keep at it.

Thanks Hagar,
I agree the focus was a tad off but I was in denial during procesing. Im going to have another bash at this object as soon as the clouds bugger off. I see the problems with the pic and now thanks to the folk on this site I have a half decent chance of improving. I dont know what I was thinking when I started this hobby... big telescope ... hang camera on the back....point ..shoot ..hang hubble quality picture on the wall...... It really is hard but enjoyable work.
