WITHDRAWN FROM SALE - SORRY TO THE PEOPLE WHO EXPRESSED INTEREST IN THIS LENS
Canon EF 70-200 non-IS 2.8 lens, build code UU1120 (Manufactured Nov 2006 at the Utsunomiya, Japan, factory)
The lens is in near new condition and cosmetically/optically near perfect, apart from a small scratch on the dust cap. I am asking $1450 + shipping (new price is over $1900 from the discounters). What you get with this is also the original packaging, ET-83II Hood, Tripod foot mount and carry bag. Will suit all Canon DLSR's.
The highlight of this lens however is the outstanding sharpness throughout the range. Here are some full size images at f2.8 at various focal lengths 70mm (shot a little out of focus), 100mm, 135mm and 200mm:

Here is another report of the 70-200 lens:

This lens also has some history, in that it was used to discover Comet C/2007 E2. Naturally, it will be sad to see this lens go, but in I am pulling funds together at the moment for a new purchase.
