Centaurus A through W/O Flt110

Hello,

I took this on Sunday night at Mapleton Observatory of NGC5128. It is 8 x 10 min Lights with 3 x 10 min Darks (thanks for being patient Paul), ISO 800 using a Canon 400d unmod, guided using PHD,stacked using DSS and processed CS3. I am struggling with my processing so any feedback would be appreciated.

That's still I fairly good image with processing skills aside, though I am Impressed with what the scope can do. Dose not seem to have much CA if any at all.

Was there a field flattener on that scope?
if there isn't that would be good.
The stars are sharper than what I can get with my reflector on a good night.
I'll will put the scope on my short list.

since i am hopeless at processing i wont talk about that - but i am impressed at the image though, i think it looks good

nice job processing
one trick in PS is to use thr eye drop color sampler and set a mark on a star known to be white. then adjust RGB in levels to bring them up to 255. This might assist with color balance in the shot (seems a tad red to me)

Thanks all for the comments. Ashley there is no field flattener. I have been told that it would improve the stars near the edges but all my shots have been taken without. Some time in the future I will get one. Hope this helps with your choice of scopes. I love mine. It looks great and as I said the focuser is a treat with the 10.1 as comes standard. The person I bought it from sais this scope he has allows him to split I think it was Sirius and its pup at 600x magnification. It sounds impressive but means little to me.
