I am really surprised at how good pictures can turn our just using mid range digital camera with your telescope. The shake in the picture is because I was the tri-pod for the camera :-)

Camera was a Sony Cyber Shot on the ISO Setting. I held the camera against a 25 mm eyepiece. Using an 8 inch Dob I got a few shots , and each had different colours emanating for the same stars.

Good Gawd!...at first, I though you were insisting you're human equatorial mount. Bit of a fun shot and as you say, pretty cool to pick up star colours given your technique.

Well if I were a Human EM, I wouldnt recommend buying one, as we require way to much maintenance. :-)

Thanks of having a look at it. Even just by that image, I can see why it's such a beautiful hobby and people go all out in getting pictures and the paitence it must take to get some of those pictures is incredible.
