Marking all Posts on this Page Read

I've just got back from a week incommunicado... 430 unread posts. Well that's to be expected:).

How difficult would it be to add a button to mark only the posts on the current page as read?

Rather than having to make it through all the unread posts in a marathon session, you could work your way through them a page at a time. It's not something that most regular visitors to the forum would use a lot, but when you do have a break it would help to get back on top of all the unread posts. It might make the forum more user friendly for the less frequent visitor as well:shrug:.

When I haven't been online for a while and have mountains of unread posts, rather than use "New Posts", I go through some of the big forums first like General Chat and Deep Space and once I've read the posts I want in those, I do a "Mark This Forum Read", which gets through most of the bulk of unread posts and makes "New Posts" more manageable :)

One approach is to use subscribe to automatically subscribe to any thread in which you post. Then you can look at a list of subscribed threads and see if there is anything unread in those. At least, that gets you to a subset in which you may be interested.
