This will be a good one to get on DVD, great stuff on the history of science.
Great names like Galilao, Tyco Brahe, Herchel, Darwin & more. (probably spelt them wrong :doh: )
A must see show !

Yeah it was very good, liked the part about hour the speed of light was discovered. Did not know this until tonight.

That was a new one on me too Paul, a good talking point next time I am showing someone the moons of Jupiter.
Will have to wait till next year for that opportunity now I guess !

I just got the last 15 minutes, it was very interesting.

Discovering that light had speed by observing Jupiters moons and the distance from Earth was also interesting, it seemed simple yet only a genious could have come to this conclusion.

Definately a dvd order.:thumbsup:

The Michelson-Morley experiment has become a benchmark with which to compare all other methods of measurements of the speed of light in different directions. It is also ingenious and incredibly simple at the same time. I never heard of the method involving the moons of Jupiter though... I gotta check out this show.
