Hi all,
Here are a couple of images of the Uranus-Mars conjunction from Brisbane this morning. The first is a 15 sec exposure with the 70-300mm telephoto at 120mm; f/4.5; 400iso, and includes Venus as well. The second is a 30 sec exposure at 300mm, and the trails here show the difference in colour between Mars and Uranus. This is the first time I've captured Uranus.
Both planets fitted nicely in the FOV of my 20mm eyepiece and 130mm Newtonian. There were also nice views of Jupiter (with all 4 major moons on the Western side) and the crescent Venus this morning.
Thanks for looking.
Cheers,
Stephen
