Would be even better if the stars could be toned down somewhat, there's so many of the darn things they're quite dominating :)

The only thing to control them more would be to use a minimum filter and as I already applied it subtly to the image I am loathe to do any more.
But just for you here's another minimum filter applied for you to see. Ofcourse the stars are still there :whistle:

Thanks Frank ... ofcourse some purists will say you shouldn't use minimum filter at all ... but I reckon if it works and makes an image look more pleasing to the eye ... why not :whistle:

I think its all part of getting the best out of the equipment, some cameras bloat out the stars (well capacity etc whatever...) so as far as I'm concerned, since we all use some form of processing, minimum filter is ok:thumbsup:
