Today it's exactly 6 months until the start of IISAC2009 (http://www.iceinspace.com.au/iisac)!

Checklist for now:
1. Put in your annual leave forms
2. Start earning brownie points with the other half

Keep checking back for more info as a more official launch gets kicked off soon!

Locked in.

I am 100% going this time. No Solaris upgrades this year so that won't be keeping me busy at work. :)

I still remember how much fun I had at the very first one. :)

I'll put my leave application in today.

Onya Mike!

Humayun

Mike,

I will be there representing 3RF and I am sure a couple of other 3RF representatives will also attend. 3RF will probably bring a few scopes ranging from 14" to 25", to run "Sky Tours"

Cheers,
John B

I'm hoping to make it again this year. Not entirely sure if we can make it but I'd love to return for a second time. :)

Hopefully we will have more success with the weather.

I am my own boss, so I have already approved my leave.....:D
Dont know about the brownie points, I am working on that one.;)

Cant wait to trip over more of those "cow-pats" in the dark again.

I had a ball last year which was my first IISAC. Hoping this year will be a cracka.

Geoffro.

Will definitely try to make it this time so I can finally meet people in person. I'll also be at the SPSP. As for the brownie points my technique (which I have refined after 17 years of marriage ) is not to say anything until the night before.... "btw, I have a star party this week-end. See ya!" then deal with it later. Works quite well with "movie nights", "golf days", etc ...

I'm still pinching myself, she said yes! :D
She obviously hasn't thought of how much fuel I'm going to use to get there!
And the boss at work is a push over compared to SWMBO!

See you there
Chris

really hoping to be back home in OZ by then. just gotta wait for the house to sell which is not an easy thing over here in the USA where the economy is so tanked in comparison to Australia's that it may take a while. if we're still here when the snow starts again i am going to majorly freak out!! :eyepop:

still, i am ever the optimist. having never been to a star party i am sure i'd enjoy it and plowing through the previous IISAC forums its looks great fun.
