Hi All,

This is my animation of the final 100 minutes of the shadow transit of Titan from 13/04/2009. I have included all of my "R" channel images, the best and worst. As the transit occurred very early in the evening and it had been quite a warm day the seeing early on was not good but improved latter in the evening. The animation clearly demonstrates the improvement in the seeing and temperature of my primary mirror.

Each R channel image is the best 700 to 800 frames of 1200 frame avi's, Registax V 5 was set to 95% the quality of the tagged frame.

I have posted my best RGB of this event previously and have attached here two of the best R channel images.

Thanks for looking.
Regards
Trevor

Thanks Andrea, the images in the animation were taken every ten minutes for 100 minutes.

Thanks Lester, a whole day of processing for a few seconds of animation, not much to show for it really, but I think it looks ok.

Wow, Trevor a whole days processing for a few seconds animation; thats why I marvel at animations, because of the patience and time involved.

Thanks for showing your skills this way.

Hi Trev

This is brilliant. Im a big fan of Carolyn Porco and the Ciclops site. No doubt you are aware of this site?

Cheers Petra d.

Thanks Petra, yes, since imaging the big storm in Feb 2008 I have been on Carolyn's mailing list of Ciclops updates. Sorry about the tardy reply, I have been down to Adelaide with my son for a few days.

Thanks Chris
