As mentioned in another post, I get AS&T, S&T(USA version), "the new" Sky &Space...and "Night Sky"
and pick up the occassional Astronomy or Astronomy Now or whatever other Astro Mag I see at the news agents...I am a "junkie"...

I subscribe to AS&T, and "Astronomy" and buy S&S as and when it appears on the newsstand
Usually manage to get the US Sky and Tel off the local library..like to read Sue French's writeups

Seeker,
Sue French has just written a book - "Celestial Sampler: 60 Small-Scope Tours for Starlit Nights". I'll see if I can find out how many of the tours are visible from these latitudes.

lol houghy, anyone can fake a profile...
i just hope this wonderful forum doesn't turn into a spam-fest for AS&T...certainly beginning to seem that way...!
good to see S&S still getting purchased though...
I don't work there either but I'll be subscribing to AS&T too.
Way to go SpaceGeek.

I subscribe to AS & T, I signed up at the SPSP in March. I buy Sky and Space off the newstand when its available and have done since 1991.

I subscribe to both Aussie mags, but I saw the new S&S at the newsagents today but it's not in my letterbox yet.

I am purely a newsagent buyer - dont want any scrunched up damaged wet letter box versions - i like mine in mint condition :D - i even go thru the stack at the newsagent and find the best condition one :P sad!
and its not like S&S has really anymore competiton than they did before, seeing the US version is off the stands. i can tell you from my 10 year long experience with several astro friends - they usually always bought the S&T first/more often than bought S&S (when available). They arent astro mag addicts like me tho. I even have 3 or 4 issues of the old Southern Astronomy as well - that was an excellent mag :)
