Here is the last Full Moon I took on the 9th / 10th April.

It doesnt look as good as the original before the reduction.
I still cant make them look as good when I reduce their size for the web.

Afocal method again, through 18mm ED eyepiece and a Meade 4500 Newt. scope.
And Canon compact digital Camera.
A little bit of change to the contrast and brightness and sharpness as well.
I have been waiting to get a 100 percent Full Moon for ages , but I think that this one has a little bit of shadow on the edge even though IIS web site said 100%.

Anyhow, here it is.

I almost have a full set of Phases from a whole Month now.
I am only 2 x waxing phases short of the full set.

Heres hoping....

Thx for looking again.

Geoffro.

Thanks for the comments.

I just wish I could figure out how to make the images Bigger and still have them sharp with only 200KB allowance.

Hi Geoff
I am a newbie from South Africa, so hello to you and this forum. That is a great image. It is amazing the standard of image you get using the afocal method. Well done

Thx to you too Trevor.

I do enjoy playing around with the equipment that I have and can afford.
I can stretch it to the limits and have fun at the same time.

Thanks Mike and Petra.

Any comments on how to make the image as large as I see some others on IIS are welcome.
I can reduce the image for the web but other images of similar size still look 2 to 3 times the size. ????

Thx again

Hello Geoff,
There is an application called GraphicConverter by Lemke Software which will resize an image to a target size.
