G'day, as an act of insanity, which is apt in my case, I have for someone who knows the true value of the object below in the images, what I think is a Finder Scope, for sale to the person who will pay the most money above $1.00, this is not an auction, it is a sale, you state the price, in a few days I'll give it to the person willing to pay the most, I must get a dollar at least, otherwise I'll throw it in the bin.

There is $55.00 postage with it (just kidding :lol::lol:) actually I can post it, and as silly as this sounds it will probably cost more for the postage than it's worth, and the postage could run as high as $5.00 <<< Just guessing.

If you live near Propsect (near Blacktown) you can drive by and pick up this wonderful item. When I look through it, it gives a very nice red dot in the distance, if that's any help to you :eyepop:

Okay, do I hear a dollar from anyone, I bet it cost over a hundred when purchased new (another guess).

I don't know, I got it a couple of years ago with a telescope but never used it, if you want it you can have it for a good hearty hand shake :P

If no one else grabs it before I come up, I'll offer a handshake and a respectable number of $s, if it looks like I can get it working. A spare red dot finder would be useful. :)

Buggar it, I'll withdraw the sale, it's yours mate, I don't know if you can get it to work or not, if you can good luck. I'll remove the sale as soon as you have read this :P

hmmm,

1) I live near Blacktown (Kellyville actually)
2) I dont have a red dot finder
3) I too am a member of WSAAG
4) Could use the finder on the 5 inch newt or the flex dob
5) Could "grease your palm" with some moolah as required
6) Probably dont need it though, BUT if it ends up going in the BIN, then I am in MY CAR and over to your house in 15 mins.

Sorry if this violates the "tell me how much you will pay" rule, but as Eric said, if noone else has a pressing need then I can find it a good home in my collection.

Keeps it in the WSAAG family too! (just make sure you pass it to me in a brown paper bag with no markings, OK?)

I find it ironic that the "WSAAG telescope historian" labels a red dot finder ad as " I think its a finder scope" Its a bit like the CEO of Coca Cola describing the drink as "sort of a fizzy drink, I think"

Cheers

Chris
