Hi all
I'm giving a talk at the Sydney City Skywatchers group tonight, on "Astrophotography on a Budget".
It's at the Sydney Observatory, meeting starts at 6:30pm.
Thanks to Harry for the invite!
Looking forward to it.
Is that open to everyone Mike or do you have to pre-book?

I went. Definitely worth going. Some of Mike's animations of Jupiter were absolutely spellbinding. I particularly appreciated the emphasis on budget. While the ten thousand dollar camera will do a great deal, it might not be an essential item. One can do well for a tenth of that amount - or less.
About twenty people came for the meeting. The regular business progressed very tidily - very little raving. The SCS crew seem to be very well organised.
Thanks to Mike for his input. Hope to hear (and see) more down the track.
Regards,
Tony Barry

I also went last night and was fascinated by the talk that Mike gave and the images that he presented. Thanks to Mike and to RB for their advice and I look froward to seeing them at the Pony Club in the not too distant future.

I had a great time, it was great to meet you Frank (telecasterguru) and to listen to the presentations (well done Mike), I also enjoyed the solar viewing observation reports.
Thank you to Sydney City Skywatchers for organising the meeting and the warm welcome.
PS looking forward to seeing you at the pony club Frank !
