Hi,
I know, I promised no more lum shots!
But this one from this morning is slightly clearer
than my last attempt on Apr 01 (http://www.iceinspace.com.au/forum/showthread.php?t=43112)
A colder camera this morning , ambient was 12c
at 5am. Stars rock steady.
A slight speckled artifact when viewed on the observatory
CRT. Edge preserving smooth kills the sharpness so I left it
as-is.

Hi Steve
That is a very impressive M16 for 5 second subs! I’m astonished by the smoothness and tonality, along with the overall detail and sharpness of the final image – top stuff!
You’re making this look too easy!
Cheers

You keep producing the goods  Where are you getting all those clears skies from? I haven't seen a start for about a week in Sydney

Up close & personal - I like that! Some really great detail there too Steve! Nice one!
Cheers, Marcus
I agree with everyone else, what a lovely shot Steve !!
It reminds me of the textbook shots we see in b/w.
Well done mate.

Thanks so much you guys.
Your comments are so appreciated.
Every night out lately with this setup has been such a pleasure.
I only hope these crisp autumn nights continue.
It's not like Adelaide at all to be this fine for so long :)
