Hi Geoffro,

Its good to know I have company.. I am too mad after MOON..heheh. well mate I just used a normal digi cam (no dslr or hi tech cam). Fuji s8100. Captured it at max optical zoom and then zoomed the image on the computer and adjusted brightness and contrast. I will be capturing some more nice ones on 10 april-full moon.

Wat about u? do u have any suggestions to capture good shots?

Cheers

Hi again,

I just use a small Canon IXUS 70 compact digital camera. I mount it to the eyepiece with a camera adaptor worth about $40 to $60 dollars depending where you buy it.
And then I just fiddle round with the settings and focus till I get some good images. I usually take about 50 images and only keep about 10-15 of them per session.I then do some minor contrast processing and sharpening and thats about it.

My computer is filling up with Moons....LOL.

I have a great deal of fun imaging the moon while observing it.
I am only 2 phases short of gettring a full Months worth of Images of the Moon ( one everyday ).
Its taken me Months and Months and Months to get this far and I am still in need of some to complete the sequence, but havin' fun....

Here is one of my older posts with some more of my efforts in it. cheers.http://www.iceinspace.com.au/forum/attachment_browse.php?a=53084

Keep it up.

Geoffro.

Love the moon.
Favourite time is around day 10 when you can get some up close and personal images of Copernicus, Plato the Appenines.

Oh cool.. feels like I found my kind of company..hehe. well i was planning to take some nice shots from 10april-full moon day onwards.. i hope the weather is cloudy..did u kno in march 2009 due to an asteroid hit, the moon is tilted by a few more degrees.. this could really mean more irregular tides here on earth..:-(
