Posters of southern constellations

Hi all,

A friend of mine will travel to Perth this weekend... and he wants to buy a poster(s) picturing Orion, Southern cross etc... Hi was out of luck with this in Melbourne, maybe he will be better off there..

Could someone let us know about a shop in Perth where he can go?:help:

I don't know about shops in Perth, but there are some magnificent pics on the Hubble web-site which are readily downloadable and printable.

True, not poster size (unless you have a suitable printer) but in A4 they look magnificent - suitable for framing.

You da' Man. that Hubble site is outta' sight.
I saw some great posters at Sirius Brisbane.
Posters just don't cut as well as what computer images do. What do think Rob?

Marty, I do agree. :thumbsup: I have printed three on A4 glossy paper and have them on the wall. They do look fantastic.

Get them in Perth!?!:rofl::rofl:Mate, if he can't get them in Melbourne he hasn't a hope in **** getting them in Perth. Tell 'im he's dreaming. Sorry, but you wont find such exotic fare here.

BTW, I don't know anyone that does them. The only thing I've seen are cards with the Zodiac constellations on them, and then they are seen from a notherners point of view.

I have just checked the bintel web site and they have some posters, and they are all reduced in price.
I don"t know if that is Sydney only?

Thanks guys, I will try Bintel in Melbourne today (York Optical did not have them).. well, if what's they have is not what he wants, he will have to be happy with Zodiac cards in Perth :whistle::D
