Anyone else from Adelaide?

Anybody from Adelaide had any decent viewing sessions lately?

It has been cloudy everynight for the last 2 months. Really sad.
The only time it has cleared up was when the full moon was out a few days ago, but nothing much to see.

I bought my 12" dob this year and have hardly had any good seeing nights with her.

Just needed to vent some steam!!!!!

I don't blame you for venting! I've only had one good night of viewing in well over 3 months now. But boy, I enjoyed it!!

Yeah am from Adelaide and I concur with your assessment of crap weather. Mars is getting really large and I can't image it.

BTW we are planning on a observing night soon, if you are interested maybe you could bring your dob.

That would be cool, but the weathter doesnt look good again for a long time.

It would lbe nice to meet some fellow astronomers as I feel I could learn a lot from you guys rather than just from the net.

Keep in touch though, I would be glad to bring my scope.

I'm from Adelaide as well, only a few KM from Paul AKA Rumples Riot. He is in Blackwood I am in Aberfoyle Park.
It would be nice to catch up.
