I had some old negatives scanned for a presentation I gave to IISAC back in Jan 2007 but I never got around to putting them on my web site.
I thought some of you might like to see them?
Here is an 8 panel mozaic of the Milky Way I did when I was a teenager in March 1984, so exactly 25 years ago now... :(:

Here is a David Malin amplified cold camera negative of NGC 4945 from teh same year (compare it to that done by Marcus :doh:...oh how technology marches on...)

There is a link under to some Hallleys Comet shots taken with the Pentax 6X7 lenses too.
How far we have come :eyepop:...although in real life the Milky Way mozaic would probably still hold it's own at the David Malin Awards I recon, especially for the huge size it was at approx 1.5m X 0.8m (making it an illegal entry size of course :P)
