Yeah – Mike & Terry took an enormous leap of faith and look what has transpired; a vibrant, friendly, topical and thankfully hygienic amateur astronomy Forum - a great place to stay in touch, keep up to date and meet with a great bunch of like minded folks.:)
It doesn’t hurt to occasionally remind ourselves of our good fortune; we have a free astronomy home to visit, inhabited by some mighty fine folks!
Cheers

IIS is my home away from home.
Through this forum I've met so many kind, caring people. :)
Thanks Mike.
Yep, great place and full of great people.
Think I might show my appreciation(sp?!) by clicking on that button.
Which Button?
<----- This one! :D

Yeah thanks Mike
Not only is it the people you meet but the wealth of information as well.
You can learn in days or weeks what would take years of hard slogging trial & error by going it alone.
And errors in this hobby can be expensive.
Thanks to all involved.

Thanks to Mike indeed for a great resource! Not only a font of useful and interesting information, not only a way of buying wonderful 2nd hand goodies, but also a constant companion in my worsening addiction! I suppose its the company of a community of addicts all egging each other on. Fantastic!

Second all those thoughts. I know there are some around who are not big fans, but I have found all the info and advice from IIS community invaluable. Mike & Co need to be supported.
Yep, I have to agree as well, top site, and the help available is just incredible.

Thanks very much for the impromptu "thanks" thread.
Terry and I really appreciate your kind words. Comments like this:
really mean a lot and make the last 4.5 years of work worthwhile.
We've got a lot of exciting changes to IceInSpace coming up this year and I can't wait to share them with you.
Thanks again.

and complicated my already busy life :juggle:
and tested family relationships :argue:
