Peter
The definition in the dust lane is very fine indeed and the colour matching is superb.

Can't think of the right adjective Peter, gob-smacked, awesome image.
To see the fine structure and really delicate detail in an amateur image of Cent A is astonishing. Obviously you have mastered the intricacies of production and processing to produce a masterpiece, indeed.

Overall a fabulous image. The stars look harshed out - too much deconvolution?

Absolutely beautiful. If I may ask without offending, the background is crystal clear and everything looks sharp as... is this mainly accredited to the RC scope (assuming that's what was used), the camera quality (SBIG?), or very good processing? I'm sure it's a combination of all 3 to some extent (plus lots of experience), but is one more of a factor?

Gaud, what a question for a SBIG/RC dealer . And anyway, of course it (they, the gear) are, might as well throw in the PME too :D.

Software Bisque Paramount PME mount (its red, very red). One of the better Amature mounts around (and probably the most "important" factor in the image quality).
